INX Hosts Healthcare Sales Summit with Cisco Systems
HOUSTON--INX Inc. (NASDAQ:INXI) announced today its participation in Cisco's Healthcare Vertical Select Partner Program.
INX held a two day national Healthcare Sales Summit in San Diego, California recently to formally kick off its participation in the Cisco's Healthcare Vertical Select Program. INX had been nominated by Cisco Systems to participate in the program earlier this year. The Cisco program is designed to help accelerate the growth of a channel partner's vertical healthcare business while providing mutual customers with access to channel partners that understand specific vertical market needs.
INX's participation in the program reflects its strong commitment to a rapidly growing industry that is faced with the complex challenge of developing and implementing comprehensive IT infrastructure strategies that consider ever-evolving technology demands from disparate internal organizations and departments. These challenges involve determining how best to meet the ultimate objective of improving total patient care through leveraging advanced technologies. As a partner with experience in delivering total, robust solutions for such complex, dynamic environments INX is poised to align to these vertical market needs.
INX's focus on delivering Business Ready Networks to help customers meet their business objectives, coupled with their extensive experience in the healthcare market and ability to "speak the language" of healthcare professionals positions the company well for healthcare organizations in need of a strategic partner.
"As the healthcare industry continues to grow, it is also becoming a significant source of our overall business, currently representing approximately 11% of our total revenue," stated Mark Hilz, President of INX. According to U.S. Bureau of Labor statistics, there have been more new wage and salary jobs created within healthcare than in any other industry in the last three years. Job growth is expected to continue to outpace other industries over the next seven years, indicating a strong continued growth opportunity for INX in the healthcare space.
The INX Healthcare Summit had participation from the Cisco Systems Healthcare Vertical team including team lead Frank Grant, Director of Market Development. In attendance at the Summit from INX were regional managers and sales executives that have an existing base of healthcare business in their markets along with Vice President of Sales, Mark Wilhelm, and President and COO Mark Hilz.
