SVTC Technologies Builds Management Team
SAN JOSE, Calif.--SVTC Technologies, LLC, the newly independent development foundry, today announced it has added three new vice presidents (VPs) to its executive-management team. They are Lee Dinneen, VP and chief financial officer (CFO); Scott Marquardt, VP of sales, marketing and strategic business development; and Tricia White, VP of human resources (HR).
The appointments are part of SVTC's build-out following a change in ownership. Formerly known as the Silicon Valley Technology Center (SVTC), the company was purchased by Oak Hill Capital Partners and Tallwood Venture Capital this past March, when Dave Bergeron, a Tallwood executive-in-residence, was named chief executive officer (CEO).
"We're carefully choosing top managers to grow SVTC financially and operationally," Bergeron said. "Lee, Scott and Tricia have the critical industry experience and business savvy needed as we transform SVTC Technologies into the industry's premier development foundry, where customers will pilot process modules and take advantage of new technology capabilities."
Lee Dinneen, Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
As SVTC's new CFO, Lee Dinneen will oversee finance and accounting, and guide all strategic planning and business practices related to finance.
Dinneen was previously CFO at PerkinElmer Optoelectronics, a $400 million division specializing in imaging and lighting products. Prior to that, she served as VP and controller of the emerging businesses unit within Philips Semiconductors, a $4 billion revenue division of Royal Philips Electronics. Dinneen also has been a financial executive with Magepower Semiconductor, Cypress Semiconductor and Sytek, Inc. At Cypress, Dinneen rose from financial analyst to director of corporate finance, where she was -- in addition to other duties -- responsible for Securities and Exchange Commission reporting and investor relations.
She holds a bachelor's degree from the University of the Pacific and a master's of business administration (MBA) from Southern Methodist University.
Scott Marquardt, VP Sales and Marketing, and Strategic Business Development
As VP of sales, marketing, and strategic business development, Marquardt will identify unmet market needs and help design services which will deliver high value to leading-edge customers.
Marquardt has helped drive more than a half dozen start-ups and turnarounds in North America, Europe and Asia. Most recently as senior VP of Asia Pacific sales and marketing for NXP Semiconductors (formerly the Royal Philips Electronics semiconductor division), Marquardt revitalized the company's business with top-tier Japanese manufacturers. Marquardt also ramped Philips' mobile phone assembly and distribution operations in Europe and Singapore and served as senior VP of global sales for Philips Components. He was founding CEO of ActiveSky, a mobile infotainment platform software company, where he led the company through its $22 million Series-A funding and initial revenues. Marquardt began his career at Apple Computer, starting with the so-called "pirate" Macintosh project. He was responsible for the design, engineering, construction, and operation of Apple's European operations center in the Netherlands.
He holds an MBA from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business and a bachelor's in architecture from Columbia University.
Tricia White, VP, Human Resources
Tricia White, SVTC's VP of human resources, will provide strategic leadership for recruiting, employee relations, organizational development, and benefit programs.
Before joining SVTC Technologies, White was an HR executive for many years with Applied Materials, where she held positions in both division and corporate HR. Recently she has been working on merger, acquisition and integration activities, and in a prior role she led HR operations and managed organizational readiness for the company's corporate business-transformation initiative. Before moving to Applied, White served in HR executive positions with Sierra Medical Center (part of Tenet Corp.) in El Paso, and with Donnelly Optics in Tucson. White is a member of the Society for Human Resources Management and is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources.
She holds an MBA from Eastern New Mexico University and a bachelor's in secondary education from New Mexico State.
