Hemisphere Gold First Auger Assays Being Compiled for Analysis
Company Building 3D Pictures for Continued Exploration
RENO, Nev.--Hemisphere Gold Inc. (Pink Sheets:HPGI), a gold exploration, property acquisition and mining development company, is pleased to announce that its initial auger assays of its Suriname concession are now being built into 3D models for analysis.
These 3D models are extremely important for understanding the geology of the specific areas. After reviewing these assays and plotting them on our maps, the Company will be redeploying a team back to the initial sampling area to further define some of the gold-bearing areas.
The company feels that this will give a better idea on the quality of the area for the next phase on this project, which will be to cut a trench along the zone and sample it to specific depths.
A Company spokesperson stated, "We are working diligently along the previously announced anomaly and building strong data to further our exploration goals. We are looking forward to seeing the results of the compiled information, and continuing our successful exploration program."
Toronto's National Bank Financial (NBF) metals analysts recently revised their average gold price forecasts upward from $650/oz to $675/oz in 2007 and from $625/oz to $675/oz in 2008, while adjusting the silver price to reflect a 50:1 ratio with the gold price. In a revised gold price forecast, NBF metals analyst Tanya Jakusconek and associates Joanne van Balegooie and Farooq Hamed said their outlook "is predicated on a positive mix of historic price drivers and supportive gold market fundamentals."
