Isang malaking oportunidad talaga ang partylist system para bigyang boses ang iba't ibang adbokasiya at mapalakas ang maliliit na partidong pulitikal. Kaya hindi na rin nakakagulat ang biglaang pagdami ng mga grupong gustong mabigyang pansin ang kanilang sektor.
Pero kailangang paigtingin ang proseso ng rehistrasyon at akreditasyon para masiguradong hindi ito maabuso at gawin lang na "back door entry" para makapasok sa Kongreso.
Ang hangad natin ay makabuluhang representation sa kongreso. Dapat mabigyan ng patas na laban at pagkakataon ang mga partidong kulang ang representasyon at boses sa loob ng Kongreso batay na rin sa tunay na intensyon ng Partylist System.
This is also why I continue to support legislation that would clarify the original intent of the Partylist System Act and make sense of the successive Supreme Court rulings on the law.
