TORONTO, ON, CANADA, September 20, 2021 / -- Amuka Esports has signed a definitive agreement with Legends Esports to fully acquire the company. Legends Esports, based in Waterloo, ON, has built one of the largest amateur leagues for game titles such as League of Legends and Valorant that includes 7 competitive divisions and over 1,500 total players.

Founded in 2019 by Andrew Collard, Nathan Bondy, and Joseph Paul, Legends Esports seeks to give players a professional gaming experience with balanced and competitive leagues, advanced stats, standings, weekly streams, and a safe playing environment.

The acquisition by Amuka Esports will see some new and excited changes for the Legends Esports platform. These changes include more divisions, new game titles, bigger prize pools, sponsored giveaways, and collegiate intramural leagues.
