Benton County home care aide suspended on allegations of unprofessional conduct
OLYMPIA – State health officials immediately suspended the license of Benton County home care aide Ivy Metcalf (HM.60726240) pending further legal action.
Charges state Metcalf tried to kiss a patient, grabbed her breasts and buttocks, and forcibly pulled her into the bathroom. After leaving the patient’s home, Metcalf was involved in a single car accident. At the scene of the accident, Metcalf was allegedly screaming belligerently and had to be physically restrained.
Metcalf cannot practice in Washington until the charges are resolved. She has 20 days to respond to the charges and to ask for a hearing.
