W.Va. State Fire Marshals arrest Berkeley County man for trailer fire

 

CHARLESTON, W.Va. – The West Virginia State Fire Marshal’s Office has charged a man in connection with a June fire at an occupied trailer.

 

WVSFMO investigators have charged Dalton Donivan, 24, with one count each of first-degree arson and attempted murder. Donivan is alleged to have set fire to a home on Bessemer Lane in Martinsburg on July 30.

 

Donivan was arrested on August 7 and arraigned in Berekeley County Magistrate Court. He remains in Eastern Regional Jail without bond.

 

The arrest was made by WVSFMO investigator G.A. Harms and the Berkeley Sheriff’s Department.
