Head of State reshuffles diplomatic sector

Luanda, ANGOLA, May 16 - The President of the Republic, João Lourenço, on Wednesday reshuffled the diplomacy sector by dismissing and appointing roughly a dozen ambassadors in different parts of the world. ,

Ambassadors Albino Malungo (Korea), José Andrade de Lemos (United Arab Emirates), Feliciano António dos Santos (Israel) Nelson Manuel Cosme (Brazil), Alberto Correia Neto (Germany) and Alberto do Carmo Bento Ribeiro (Kingdom of the Netherlands) were dismissed, according to a note from the Civil Affairs Office of the President of the Republic to which ANGOP had access on Wednesday.

The Head of State also dismissed ambassadors Gilberto Buta Lutucuta (Equatorial Guinea), Pedro Hendrick Vaal Neto (Zimbabwe), João Manuel Bernardo (Viet Nam), Balbina Malheiros Dias da Silva (Zambia), Manuel Alexandre Duarte Rodrigues (Namibia), Agostinho Tavares da Silva Neto (United States of America) and Florêncio Mariano da Conceição and Almeida (Italy).

 

On another presidential order, the Head of State appointed the ambassadors Edgar Augusto Brandão Gaspar Martins (Korea), Albino Malungo (United Arab Emirates), Osvaldo dos Santos Varela (Israel), Florêncio Mariano da Conceição and Almeida (Brazil), Balbina Malheiros Dias da Silva (Germany), Maria Isabel Gomes Godinho de Resende Encoge (Kingdom of the Netherlands), António Manuel Luvualu de Carvalho (Equatorial Guinea) and Agostinho Tavares da Silva Neto (Zimbabwe).

Likewise, Agostinho André de Carvalho Fernandes (Vietnam), Azevedo Xavier Francisco (Zambia), Jovelina Alfredo António Imperial da Costa (Namibia) and Joaquim do Espírito Santo (United States of America) were also appointed.
