President invited to Tokyo Conference on African Development
Luanda, ANGOLA, May 3 - Angolan Head of State João Lourenço was officially invited by Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe to attend the 7th Tokyo International Conference for African Development in Japan, next August.

The invitation was formally handed over to President João Lourenço on Friday (03) in Luanda by Japanese Foreign Minister Taro Kono during a meeting granted to him at the Presidential Palace.
The Tokyo International Conference for African Development is a platform for cooperation between Japan and African countries.
At the end of the meeting, the head of the Japanese diplomacy, who is on a working visit to Angola, told the press that the occasion served to discuss with the Angolan president aspects relevant to strengthening cooperation between the two countries.
In the field of cooperation, Taro Kono announced that Japanese businessmen are preparing to invest in Angola in various sectors of the national economy.
