NASHVILLE, Tenn., May 01, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- INFINITI today reported U.S. sales of 8,491 vehicles in April.


	The all-new INFINITI QX50 is a premium mid-size SUV with world-first technologies, stand-out design and class-leading interior space – all on an entirely new platform. The QX50 also features a VC-Turbo engine, the world’s first production-ready variable compression ratio engine, which delivers driving pleasure and efficiency in equal measure, transforming on demand.

The QX50 luxury crossover, up 7 percent to 1,513, had its best April ever. With deliveries of 1,029 vehicles, the QX80 full-size sport utility vehicle had an increase of 12 percent.

Sales of the Q50 sports sedan increased 16 percent to 2,174 in April, while the Q70 luxury performance sedan had an increase of 27 percent to 345. Overall, INFINITI sedans and coupes were up 5 percent for the month.
