Combat to migratory infringements demands greater commitment

Huambo, ANGOLA, April 19 - The fight against migratory infringements countrywide demands greater commitment from the Migration and Foreigners Service (SME), having into account the negative consequences of such practices. ,

 

This statement was made last Thursday by the delegate of the Ministry of the Interior to the central Huambo Province, Francisco Monteiro da Silva, when delivering a speech at the commemoration ceremony of the 43rd anniversary of the SME, being marked this Friday (April 19).    

 

According to the official, it is necessary to continue to promote a good collaboration with judicial organs and the Prosecution Department, aiming at bringing to accountability people who seek asylum in Angola and then get involved in the activity of forging documents with the help of Angolan citizens.

 

Francisco Monteiro da Silva also appealed to the SME effectives to adopt a dignifying posture, which means they must move away from attitudes like extortion which taint the image of the institution.
