Supreme Court acquits Norberto Garcia
Luanda, ANGOLA, April 16 - The former director of the Technical Unit for Private Investment (UTIP), Norberto Garcia, was acquitted on Tuesday by the Supreme Court (TS) of the crimes he had been accused in the case called Thai swindle.,
Angolan Celeste de Brito, another implicated woman, was sentenced to two years in prison, while Thai defendant Raveeroj Ritchoteanan, the plot's mentor, was sentenced to seven years in prison.
