Addis Ababa, ANGOLA, April 6 - The new African Union (AU) Special representative for the Central African Republic (CAR), Angolan Matias Bertino Matondo, Friday discussed with AU Peace and Security Commissioner Smail Chergui the support for the full implementation of Peace Agreement in central African Country.,
The issue was raised in Addis Ababa (Ethiopia) during a courtesy visit by the Angolan Ambassador to the Algerian diplomat, discussed on the latter's twitter.
Matias Bertino Matondo was appointed AU Special Representative in the Central African Republic on 22 March by the Chairperson of the African Union Commission, Moussa Faki Mahamat, taking over from Bedializoun Nebié Moussa, who was called for other functions.
On 6 February, a Peace Agreement was signed between President Faustin Archange Touadera and leaders of the 14 armed groups to end the crisis, which erupted in 2013.
