President João Lourenço added that, given the geopolitical position, the Russian Federation played and continues to play an indispensable role in international politics, both in the Asian axis and in the European and the Pacific.

Angolan President said that at the level of multilateralism, and as a permanent member of the United Nations Security Council, Russia has been one of the most active and committed voices.

Before speaking in the Chamber, João Lourenço, who is on a four-day visit to Russia, as part of strengthening bilateral cooperation, met with the Speaker of the Parliament, Vyacheslav Volodin.
