Mozambique: Angolan humanitarian mission deemed positive

Beira, ANGOLA, March 31 - The Angolan humanitarian mission to Mozambique, whose members have been providing assistance to the victims of the Idai cyclone that devastated that African country of the Indian Ocean, has been deemed positive by the Angolan secretary of State for Defence Infrastructures and Industry, Afonso Carlos Neto. ,

 

The official has spoken to journalists in the end of an assessment  visit to the activities of the Angolan humanitarian mission in Mozambique.

 

“We visited some shelter areas and others in which our team is working, and so judging by the reactions from the Mozambican authorities and the population, the note is positive.

 

On his turn, the secretary of state for Health Issues, Leonardo Europeu Inocêncio, has encouraged the Angolan team to continue doing their best until the end.

 

He appealed for rigorous fulfilment of the mission, which has already been lauded by the Mozambican President, Filipe Nyusi.
