Hoyer Statement on Reports of Rockets Fired at Tel Aviv
WASHINGTON, DC – House Majority Leader Steny H. Hoyer (MD) released the following statement today on reports that rockets were fired at Tel Aviv:
“Hamas and its Iranian patrons must not be permitted to threaten the peace of Israel’s cities and communities with rockets and tunnels. Today’s unprovoked and heinous rocket attack demonstrates why U.S.-Israel security cooperation is so important and why Congressional support for systems like Iron Dome are so critical. I will continue to work in Congress to ensure robust, bipartisan support for Israel’s defense.”
