Dallas, TX, March 12, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- TownSq (pronounced Town Square) was honored to recently sponsor students from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Externship Program, which connects current students with alumni in workplaces worldwide during MIT's Independent Activities Period (IAP).
The externships are temporary opportunities in a variety of fields that offer long-term benefits. Externships can lead to summer internships, full-time employment, and meaningful connections with alumni and sponsor employees. Externships last four weeks, and offer students access to a wide variety of industries at large companies, start-ups, labs, and universities.

This sponsorship allowed them to experience a fast-paced technology start-up where they gained the knowledge and skill-set to develop their future career goals. The externship was beneficial to both the students and the TownSq employees. During the program, each student worked to create the initial prototype of a new disruptive TownSq product focused on optimizing efficiency for large management companies.
