Luanda, ANGOLA, February 27 - The Social Policy Committee of the Cabinet Council, considered on Tuesday the action plan of the 2019 National Teacher Training and Management Program.,

According to a Press Release of the Second Ordinary Council meeting, the plan is a convergence of the programs of activities of the different bodies responsible for implementing the training and management of teacher’s policy.

. The action plan of the 2019 National Teacher Training and Management Program aims to promote better qualification and performance of teachers of pre-school, primary, secondary, general and technical-professional education, the note said.

The meeting, led by the Minister of State for Economic and Social Development, Manuel Nunes Júnior, recommended the elaboration of a communication strategy to allow the mobilization of a greater number of actors, in order to ensure their success and adequate coordination between these organizations.

The Commission for Social Policy made an initial appreciation of the Draft Presidential Decree approving the Statute of the Subsystem of Adult Education which establishes its legal regime of organization and curricular management.

The Social Policy Commission also reviewed a Memorandum on the current situation of adult literacy and adult education in the country.

The meeting recommended the urgent elaboration of an Action Plan whose main axes are the Armed Forces and the National Police, aimed at intensifying the fight against illiteracy.

Copyright and Related Rights

At the meeting on Tuesday, the Social Policy Commission also considered the Draft Presidential Decree approving the Regulation on the Supervision of the National System of Copyright and Related Rights.

The document establishes the norms and procedures for the inspection activity, which will allow the fight against impunity, usurpation and piracy of protected works.

 

Authentication and Production of Works

 

It was also appreciated the draft Presidential decree approving the Regulation on the Authentication, Production and Distribution to the Public of Literary, Artistic and Scientific Works.

The decree, once approved, will establish procedures inherent to the authentication mechanism of intellectual works of an artistic and scientific nature for commercial purposes, as well as the rules of use and distribution.
