Air Force strengthens surveillance capability with new equipment

Lubango, ANGOLA, February 14 - The National Air Force has strengthened its technical surveillance capability with new anti-aircraft defense equipment, in order to guarantee the continued defense of spaces, its commander Altino Carlos dos Santos said in Lubango today.,

These are aircraft, locating and telecommunications radios, high-quality radars, means of transmissions and expectant anti-aircraft defense instruments that join other existing ones to guarantee territorial integrity.

Speaking at the opening of the 16th meeting of the officials of the National Air Force, which takes place in Lubango (Huíla), the official said that with the new equipment this body is able to guarantee the defense of the national airspace and respond to new challenges.

He also said that it is the Air Force's desire to increase capacity, at all levels and on a permanent basis, so that they can continually guarantee the necessary operationality to defend the integrity of the country's soil and the nation's superior interests.
