Diplomat highlights relations with Brazzaville

Cabinda, ANGOLA, February 1 - The Angolan ambassador to the Republic of Congo, Vicente Muanda, has said in Angola’s northern Cabinda Province that the relations with the neighbouring country are excellent, adding that concrete measures have been adopted to strengthen the friendship between the two peoples. ,

According to the diplomat, the bilateral relations are being more and more strengthened, especially through the holding of high level meetings.

 

Speaking to ANGOP and the public Jornal de Angola newspaper, Vicente Muanda highlighted the existing good neighbouring relations between the two countries.

 

The diplomat, who made a three-day working visit to Cabinda Province, said that he seized the occasion to learn about the degree of implementation of existing bilateral accords, which include border issues, reason why he also spoke with members of the Sub-Commission for Defence and Border Security.   

 

The accord – in the fields of defence, security, economy, culture and sports – has been signed between the government of Cabinda Province and the Congolese authorities of Kouilou Department, Pointe-Noire and Niari.
