Foreign minister Manuel Augusto travels to DRC
Luanda, ANGOLA, January 24 - Foreign Affairs Minister, Manuel Augusto, left Thursday morning for Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), to represent the Angolan Head of State, João Lourenço, at the inauguration ceremony of the Congolese president-elect, Felix Tshisekedi.

At 4 de Fevereiro International Airport, Manuel Augusto, who did not speak to journalists, was bid farewell by top officials of his ministerial department.
President João Lourenço congratulated the new DRC president last Tuesday and expressed his full conviction that Felix Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo will make every effort to promote the inclusion of all forces of the Congolese nation.
Felix Tshisekedi, 55 , was elected with 38.57 percent of the votes in last December 30 ballot and will succeed Joseph Kabila.
