Angolan president launches electronic services portal

Luanda, ANGOLA, January 23 - The Angolan President, João Lourenço, launched on Wednesday, the portal SEPE.gov.ao through his Facebook, Instagram and Twitter accounts. ,

According to the Secretary of State, it is a tool that will make information and several public electronic services available, among them the possibility to download first to sixth grade schoolbooks.

 

The portal can be accessed through the address www.sepe.gov.ao and aims at reducing the waiting time, speed up public services, encourage digital transformation and simplify processes.

 

The portal also aims to promote an integrated and systematic performance of public services and institutions.  

 

In a launching message, the president says that the Angolan government continues to bet on the creation of conditions, which enable to expand the telecommunication networks.

 

João Lourenço recognizes that an electronic government is a key factor for social and economic development of the country and assures the determination to continue promoting the construction of a digital society.

 

In the meantime, the government issued a communiqué, in which it reaffirms the determination to continue modernizing the public administration to draw the citizens close to the public services, through the usage of new information technologies.
