N:OW To Debut In New York with Educational Panels by WGSN; Media Publication COOL HUNTING To Launch Retail Trend Program at PROJECT

NEW YORK, Jan. 10, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- PROJECT kicks off the FW’19 season with the debut of N:OW at the New York show along with PROJECT’S first trend program produced by award-winning publication, COOL HUNTING.  PROJECT will be held during the NY Men’s January Marketplace, running along side MRKET, January 20 – 22nd at the Javits Center.

For its second season, the PROJECT neighborhood, N:OW, will hold fashion forums and trend presentations curated by WGSN that delve into the current state of menswear and ignite conversations that are pushing the culture forward.

“Coming off of a successful launch of N:OW this summer in Las Vegas, its debut in New York was a natural progression. N:OW will continue to evolve the traditional tradeshow and birth a fresh event experience for both brands and attendees in NY with Highsnobiety providing special coverage of it all,” shares Jason Peskin, Men’s Brand Director, Informa.

Speakers come from the industry’s most innovative brands and retailers, and leading cultural thought-leaders. Menswear experts Mordechai Rubinstein, Mr. Mort, Highsnobiety’s Editor in Chief, Jeff Carvalho, Rowing Blazers Founder, Jack Carlson and Moose Knuckles’ Creative Director, Steff Hoff among others, will lend their voice to the daily panels.

WSGN’s Senior Consultant and Forecaster, Brian Trunzo spearheaded the development of programming for 2019 with the PROJECT Team. “The programming for the New York show has been influenced heavily by the east coast perspective developing a unique identity for each marketplace. Panels and forums will address the cultural creators of New York’s downtown scene, the great prep revival, and future of streetwear.”

As purveyors of the latest intersections of design, culture and technology, COOL HUNTING will host a lounge and present COOL HUNTING at PROJECT, a first-ever interactive way for buyers to connect, make discoveries, collect prizes, and more at PROJECT.
