As we prepare to celebrate this holiday season with our families, my wife, Cindy, and I want to wish you a happy and safe holiday. This past year, the work of our members have helped those in need in our communities, delivered gains in the Midterm election, wins in organizing and turned back Right-to-Work laws. We can be proud. But, this season also saw the devastating announcement by GM that they plan to eliminate thousands of jobs in Michigan, Ohio and Maryland. So, I say today, we have just begun to fight and we will go into the New Year fighting for our brothers and sisters.
