Local business owner Johnny Dangerfield shares details of his ongoing support for Seacoast Church's popular sports ministry, Seacoast Sports

MOUNT PLEASANT, SOUTH CAROLINA, USA, December 21, 2018 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Founded in 1988, Seacoast Church is a non-denominational Christian church based in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. The church, which today boasts 13 campuses in two states, also supports a variety of initiatives and good causes, including its own sports ministry, Seacoast Sports, according to local businessman Johnny Dangerfield.

Owner of successful automotive dealership Automaxx of the Carolinas, Dangerfield is a popular supporter of the church's sports ministry. "Seacoast Sports has gone from strength to strength in recent years," he explains, "as part of what the church calls Christ-centered fitness."

"In the wider sense," Dangerfield continues, "Seacoast Church exists to help people find God, grow their faith, discover their purpose, and make a difference."

Dangerfield has now spent more than three years supporting Seacoast Church's sports ministry, and the organization's gratitude toward him is clear. "Johnny Dangerfield has been a godsend for the sports ministry here at Seacoast," explains church director Wes Koch, who first formed a relationship with Dangerfield through the church's regular hiking trips. "When I mentioned to Johnny that I was the director for the sports ministry at Seacoast, he was quick to respond," Koch explains.

Dangerfield continues, "I said to Wes, 'If it has to do with God's kingdom and athletics... I'm in!'"

True to his word, according to Koch, Dangerfield has gone on to become one of Seacoast Sports' most trusted and active supporters. "Johnny regularly goes further than asked, and delivers more than we deserve," he says of the businessman's continued efforts. "What's more, he does so with a true servant's heart, asking for no personal recognition in return and putting in countless hours of his own free time by making phone calls, arranging meetings, and organizing sponsors for our events and the sports ministry."

The Seacoast Church director is also keen to point out Johnny Dangerfield's generosity in offering assistance to the church and its members from his Summerville-based automotive dealership. A number of the sports ministry's athletes are now Automaxx of the Carolinas customers, along with one of Seacoast's pastors. "The service which they receive at Automaxx is second-to-none, and Johnny enjoys being personally involved in making sure that everyone has a fantastic experience, and that they're treated fairly," adds Koch, wrapping up.
