EU has been supporting the Angolan government for more than 30 years in various areas with stress to the most vulnerable members of society.
The campaign covers mainly children deprived of the exercise of their rights, such as birth registration and access to education and health.
The EU representative in Angola, Tomás Ulicny, pointed to paternity denial as one of the sensitive points that must be tackled in view of the high number of unregistered children in Angola.
Addressing the launch ceremony of the campaign "Responsible Paternity I Support" on Wednesday in Luanda, the official called for the need to increase the civil registry for children and create conditions for the full exercise of citizenship for all.
He noted that paternity denial is the result of several economic and social problems, causing other serious problems that affect the future of the children.
