Police step up crack down on fiscal offenses
Luanda, ANGOLA, December 5 - National Police announced Tuesday the regularization of tax contributions and increased revenue for the state.

The move is meant to prevent and fight against customs tax offenses and other practices that contribute to tax evasion.
The second general commander of police, Salvador Rodrigues, said that the tax evasion has become frequent, adding that such practice has caused incalculable damage to the national economy.
The police high ranking officer said that the impunity led to illegal fishing and other practices on drilling rigs and oil platforms, thus undermining the production security measures of crude oil products.
Salvador Rodrigues was speaking at the closing ceremony of the Naval Mechanics, Training for Trainers, Oil and Gas and Foreign Tax Inspection.
He told the closing ceremony that the measures are intended to prevent and combat the violation of perimeters of security in restricted zones of oil rigs.
He said that in order to deal with the phenomenon the corporation set up a Multi-sector Operational Group for Maritime Surveillance and Supervision.
Enormous challenges facing society and the National Police in particular will lead to achieve the goal of restoring cultural and professional values and the authority of the State.
Staff of the different units of the Fiscal Police (233) and Border Guard Police (38), have benefitted from training.
