This transformer accepts 3 phase 480V in the primary side and provides 120/240V on the secondary side, and is NEMA Type 3R rated and approved for marine and offshore applications

The MT-HAL-15KVA-480V-120.240V-N3R hazardous location transformer gives operators the ability to power their 240 volt and 120 volt equipment from a single system. On the primary side, operators connect to three-phase 480V line-in power. This transformer features a standard electrostatic shield and standard sound level and has a top accessible separate high/low voltage lead wires and tabs.

This hazardous location transformer weighs 250 pounds and is UL listed to 1604, UL listed to Class I, Division 2, Groups A, B, C and D, and has an ABS Type Approval for Marine Duty Service and offshore applications. The transformer is encapsulated in electrical grade silica sand and resin compounds. These compounds completely enclose the core and soil, which prevents the ingress of moisture or airborne contaminants and eliminates the potential for corrosion or deterioration.
