The six 160 watt LED lamps included with this unit produce a combined total of 129,600 lumens, which can illuminate a 3-4 acre area. This 960 watt LED lighting package is a direct replacement for metal halide light plants.

The WCDE-4-6X150LTL-LED mobile light tower with a three-cylinder motor is a direct replacement for metal halide light plants and is trailer mounted with a generator set that comes equipped with a 30-gallon fuel tank that can run without refueling for up to 120 consecutive hours. The Kubota engine operates at 1800 rpm and features key operated electric starting, a 12V electrical system, automatic safety shutoffs for low oil pressure and high temperature, and duel fuel filters.

This light tower can elevate all six LED lights to 25 feet in height via two manual self-braking winches with the ability to rotate the lights 360°. The telescoping boom is made of galvanized steel to resist rust and corrosion and can withstand winds up to 51 mph. The operating components of the tower are contained in a protective compartment made of recyclable linear medium density polyethalene plastic, which is fully UV stabilized.

This light tower’s operations system is a centrally located control panel inside the light tower enclosure and features six circuit breaker protected switches that allow for individual control of the lights. An individual meter tracks operating time and an alternator warning light, fuel primer system, preheating switch, 120V GFCI duplex receptacle for auxiliary power takeoff and 240V twist lock power receptacle are also included.

Suitable applications for this durable telescoping light tower include emergency services, large scale event illumination, construction, mining, industrial operations and anywhere an extended operation capable mobile lighting solution is needed.

“This diesel engine light tower is a great option for remote locations that need powerful illumination in locations where grid power is not reliable or continuously available,” said Rob Bresnahan, CEO of Larson Electronics LLC. “The rugged build, mobility and high light output makes this unit great for mining, construction or even large-scale events.
