This light fixture is US/Canada UL approved Class I Division 1 and Class II Division 1 & 2 for hazardous locations and has a T6 temperature rating approved for paint spray booths.

The Larson Electronics EPL-48-1L-INTL-36WT8 Explosion Proof Fluorescent Light Fixture is US/Canada UL approved Class 1 Division 1 and Class 1 Division 2 for hazardous locations where flammable chemical/petrochemical vapors exist or have the potential to exist. This T6 temperature rated fixture comes standard with one 18 watt T8 fluorescent bulb. The lamp is protected by a heat and impact resistant Pyrex tube and the fixture is constructed of copper free aluminum alloy. This fixture is multi-voltage capable and is available in a variety of lamp options.

The EPL-48-1L-INTL-36WT8 is a four-foot long explosion proof fluorescent light fixture that comes standard with one, 18-watt T8 fluorescent bulb producing 3,350 lumens with a 4,100k. A heat and impact resistant Pyrex tube protects the lamp inside the copper-free aluminum alloy fixture. The reflectors on this light are made of heavy gauge aluminum to resist corrosion. This fixture is IP67 waterproof and meets UL 595 and UL 1598 Marine Type standards. This fixture can be suspended from a rigid pipe by the 1/2" NPT junction box on one end of the fixture and the 1/2" NPT adjustable L-bracket on the other end.

This explosion proof fluorescent light fixture is multi-voltage capable and comes in a standard configuration with bracket end mounting, each bracket cinched to the bracket mounting peg on both sides of the light. The brackets themselves are mounted with a single bolt hole at the bracket’s top. A pendant mount for suspension from the ceiling is offered as an alternative option. Ideal applications include industrial facilities, hazardous locations, offshore refineries, marine locations, work space lighting, garage and warehouse lighting, indoor and outdoor spaces, ship yards, docks and anywhere a fixture with high output is needed.
