Governor highlights importance of good practices in project execution

Moçamedes, ANGOLA, October 17 - The governor of Namibe province, Carlos da Rocha Cruz, highlighted Wednesday in the region the importance of good practices in the execution of public projects in order to generate greater benefits and better results.,

The governor made these remarks at the opening of the seminar on Project Management, which is aimed at public managers from different organizations located in the province of Namibe.

Carlos da Rocha Cruz said that the seminar follows the new governance paradigm in light of the political changes taking place in the country and in the interest of aligning good project execution practices with all public managers in the province.

He said that the event aims to empower and provide public managers with knowledge on new methodologies of management, operation and particularities of the State Reform.

The official emphasized that the project manager is a career professional who must be in constant training so that he is endowed with knowledge, giving solutions and multidisciplinary proposals.

"The project manager must have the flexibility and communication skills to work as a team to deal with an increasingly dynamic world," he added.
