Over 50 state cars embezzlement process under PGR
Ondjiva, ANGOLA, October 10 - The process of denouncing the embezzlement of 54 vehicles belonging to several government bodies of the Cunene province is on the agenda of the Attorney General's Office, ANGOP learned Wednesday.,
The fact was confirmed by the Attorney General of the Republic in Cunene, José Clemente Cabinda, noting that the lawsuit seeks the recovery of state assets, embezzled by some public officials.
He clarified that the case results from a complaint to the institution that led to an investigative process conducted by Criminal Investigation Services (SIC) in coordination with the PGR.
According to the magistrate, the vehicles are in the possession of citizens who rendered services to the government but who, at the end of the mission, appropriated the means in their favor and took to other provinces without the due auction.
