Luanda, ANGOLA, October 9 - The Defense Ministry congratulates the Angolan Armed Forces (FAA), for its 27th anniversary which is being celebrated on October 9. ,

In a congratulatory message that reached Angop, the Defense Ministry says the celebration takes place in a time that FAA is deeply committed to the restoration and re-dimensioning of its structures.

A process, adds the note, aimed at improving the level of organization, preparation, discipline, whose aspects during its history enabled it to earn respect, affection and admiration of the Angolans.

In the meantime, the note underscores the current challenging political, socio economical conjuncture, in which the Armed Forces as a neutral political institution, is called upon to be in the front line for the moralization of the society racked by a crisis of moral integrity.

Also in the note, the Ministry of National Defense urges FAA to continue improving itself  by increasing its operational capacities and levels of civic and patriotic education,  hence the need for continued training of staff.
