Vice President receives IFC delegation

Luanda, ANGOLA, September 24 - The Vice President of the Republic, Bornito de Sousa, received a high-level delegation of the International Finance Corporation (IFC) in Luanda on Monday, headed by the vice chairperson of the institution for the Middle East and Africa , Sérgio Pimenta.,

IFC, one of the three arms of the World Bank Group, is an institution that funds private investments through guarantees, loans and financial investments to boost the economic growth of emerging countries.

According to a press release sent to Angop today, the IFC delegation included, among others, the director for Southern Africa, Kevin Njiraini, the World Bank Administrator, representing Angola, Nigeria and South Africa, Bongi Kunene, and the World Bank Adviser for Angola, Nigeria and South Africa, Mário Caetano João.
