Angola, Norway maintain good economic cooperation
Huambo, ANGOLA, September 19 - Angola and Norway maintain excellent economic cooperation ties as a result of the oil and trade partnership, said Wednesday the Minister Counsellor of the Embassy of Norway Havard Hoksnes.

Havard Hoksnes was speaking at the end of a meeting with the deputy governor for the political, economic and social sector of the central Huambo province, Maricel da Silva Capama.
According to the diplomat, Angola continues to be the key economic partner in Africa.
In addition to the oil sector, he noted, the two countries set up cooperation relations in the fields of energy, fisheries and justice, with the strengthening of an increasingly strong civil society for the Angolan nation.
In the private sector, Havard Hoksnes said that his country has set up a fund of approximately USD 50 million to invest in Angolan oil companies to increase production levels and thus attract more investment.
Angola and Norway relations date back from 1977.
The diplomat was accompanied by members of the Norwegian union and SOS, the main funder of the SOS Angola villages, which shelter children who have lost parental care.
