Five consuls dismissed for mismanagement

Luanda, ANGOLA, September 15 - At least five consuls have been sacked due to irregularities and poor management of financial resources and other behavior contrary to ethics and labor discipline, Angop learned in Luanda.,

In a press release issued on Friday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs clarifies that the dismissal are the result of several visits of the General Diplomatic and Consular Inspection, carried out in the consulates.

The same document adds that the verified acts will be sent to the Attorney General's Office, to investigate the existence or not of criminal matter and to act accordingly.

Fernando Carlos Camuamba was sacked as Consular Officer in Dolisie (Republic of Congo), Rosario Gustavo Ferreira de Ceitas, Rio de Janeiro Consular Post (Brazil), Francisco Correia Massaca, Oshakati Consular Post (Namibia), Gilberto Pinto Chikoti, Rundu Consular Post (Namibia) and Sebastião Fernandes Quixito, from the Consular Post in Lubumbashi / Katanga (Democratic Republic of Congo).
