Angola to close four embassies until November
Luanda, ANGOLA, September 10 - Angola will close four of its Embassies and an equal number of Consulates until November this year.

The information was released Monday in Luanda by the Angolan Foreign Affairs minister Manuel Augusto.
Manuel Augusto announced the targeted Embassies as being those in Mexico, Greece, Canada and the Community of Portuguese-speaking Countries, with last one to be covered by the Angolan representation in Portugal.
The minister also announced the closing of Consulates in Durban (South Africa), Frankfurt (Germany) California (US), in Faro (Portugal).
Speaking on the sidelines of the two-day 7th Consultative Council of the sector, started Monday, Manuel Augusto said that the process of moving people, as part of closing process of the institutions, is underway.
The minister also spoke of the visit of Portugal's Prime Minister, António Costa, to Angola on 17th this month to discuss bilateral cooperation.
To this purpose, he noted, the two countries’ delegations are preparing the issues that will be analysed during the visit of the Portuguese premier.
On the other hand, the Angolan top diplomat confirmed the visit of the head of State João Lourenço to Portugal in November, aimed at reinforcing existing cooperation.
The event is discussing the sector’s activities and planning others.
