SADC Ministerial Meeting assesses regional development strategy
Windhoek, ANGOLA, August 15 - The Southern Africa Development Community (SADC) Council of Ministers Meeting closed on Tuesday in Windhoek, Namibia, assessed the 2015-2020 regional strategy.,
Angola was represented in the meeting by the minister of Industry, Bernarda Matins, which prepared the documents to be submitted in the 38th Ordinary Meeting of the Heads of State and of Government to be held in August 17, 18 in Namibia.
The financial situation, industrialization of the member states, the payment of fees and contribution of the development partners had also been assessed in the meeting.
The SADC strategy is to create a common future inside a regional community, ensure the economic well being and improve the living standard, freedom, social justice, peace and security of the peoples of the Southern Africa region.
