Uíge, ANGOLA, August 10 - The Angolan head of State João Lourenço left Friday the northern Uíge province back to the country's capital, Luanda, after a two-day visit started Thursday. ,

The President was seen off at the local airport by the governor Pinda Simão and other entities.

In the northern Uige province, João Lourenço chaired the 8th Ordinary Meeting of the Economic Commission of the Cabinet Council.

The President visited the local social projects, received representatives of civil society and inaugurated a 1, 100-apartment satellite city.

The visit also enabled the President João Lourenço to work with the governors of Cuanza Norte (José Maria Ferraz), Malanje (Norberto dos Santos) and Zaire (José Joanes André).
