Cabinet's Economic Commission recommends social projects execution
Uíge, ANGOLA, August 10 - The Economic Commission of the Cabinet Council recommended on Thursday in northern Uíge, the adoption of measures that secure the execution of the main social projects being held under the Public Investment Programme (PIP) 2018.,
According to the final communiqué of the meeting, the recommendation was given based on the current situation the PIP projects are found in the provinces of Uíge, Zaire, Malanje and Cuanza Norte.
The meeting presided over by the Angolan president, João Lourenço, approved the execution of the financial programme of the treasure concerning the second quarter of 2018 and the reserve plan of the National Treasure concerning the month of June.
During the five-hour meeting, the government’s economic team assessed the final report on the political measures and actions to improve the present economic situation of the country.
The Economic Commission of the Cabinet Council is tasked of handling the government’s macroeconomic agenda and secures its management in line with goals and the economic priorities of the Government Program of the President of the Republic.
