DR Congo continues to rely on Angola's support
Luanda, ANGOLA, August 3 - Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) will continue to count on Angola's support in all areas and strengthening bilateral, economic, commercial and political-diplomatic relations, said Friday the Foreign ministry, Manuel Augusto.

Angola's top diplomat said so to the press at Luanda airport where he went to off the DRC President Joseph Kabila, who started Thursday a two-day visit to Angola.
Manuel Augusto said that the DRC has recently started exploring oil, adding that order to develop the industry the central African country relies on the cooperation of Angola.
He said that the visit of the Congolese statesman to Angola attained its desired goal, stressing that Kabila and his host counterpart, João Lourenço, discussed bilateral, regional and international issues.
The parties also analysed the process of preparation for elections in DRC and the results in Zimbabwe.
The minister of Foreign Affairs added that the information the President Joseph Kabila provided to the Angolan counterpart on the elections also pleased him, as chairperson of the Organ on Politics, Defence and Security Cooperation of the Southern African Development Community (SADC).
"From the Angola's point of view, everything is normal, as long as it (DRC) complies with law," said the minister, who was asked on preparations for the DRC elections.
The minister did not comment on the return of Congolese politician, Jean Pierre Bemba.
The President of Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) Joseph Kabila visited Friday the logistics facilities of support for oil exploration (SONILS) and the Military History Museum in Luanda.
