"The recent RISE Hong Kong 2018 conference is the largest tech conference in Asia and provided a great opportunity to talk with colleagues in the industry about how robotics technology is changing our world.

With our recent expansion of the Honda Xcelerator program to China, the Honda Innovations team in Silicon Valley continues to collaborate with startups globally to support Honda's goal to advance society and help people through our existing products, but also through innovation in new forms of mobility, energy and robotics.

Although some may think that robotics technologies are replacements of human jobs, through increased collaboration with various experts around the globe, we aim to drive robotics technologies to become the next innovative support system for our society. Not only are the technology and automotive industries changing, but human needs also are evolving, and at Honda Innovations we continue to expand our knowledge and learnings about what society is really looking for and how we can satisfy those needs through innovative technologies.
