Governor recommends educational programme for prisoners
Lubango, ANGOLA, July 20 - Penitentiary services in the province of Huíla should include prisoners in productive activities and academic and professional training, to contribute to the process of re-education and social reintegration of inmates.

The recommendation was made Thursday in the city of Lubango by the provincial governor of Huíla, João Marcelino Tyipinge, at the Consultative Council of the Provincial Delegation of the Interior Ministry (Minint).
The governor said that with adequate training from an academic and professional point of view, these citizens could make their contribution to the country's reconstruction and development process.
The Penitentiary houses more than 905 inmates, aged between 18 to 49.
