SADC troika monitors command post exercises

Luanda, ANGOLA, July 11 - The Troika of the Southern African Development Community Defense Inspectors Working Group (DWG-SADC) has been recommended to better monitor the exercise of the command post in Malawi next September. ,

 

This was at a meeting held in Luanda on July 10, 11, under the guidance of Inspector General of National Defence Marques Correia "Banza".

 

The meeting aimed at working out the standards procedures and the inspection manual.

 

Speaking at the closing ceremony, the Inspector General of Namibia, Akpofel Nambua, also recommended monitoring the contingent of Lesotho Peacekeeping Mission (SAPMIL), attached to SADC.

 

He defended the need for the Troika of SADC to complete the manual of operational procedural standards.

 

The standards of operational procedures and inspection manual will be submitted for approval at the 13th annual general meeting of the body, in February 2019 in Angola.

 

The meeting gathered Angola, Mozambique and Namibia.

 

The first meeting of the kind took place in Angola in 2009, and was attended by Botswana, Malawi, South Africa, Tanzania, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Lesotho and Swaziland .
