Angola, Egypt discuss cooperation

Luanda, ANGOLA, July 9 - Angolan Interior minister Angelo da Veiga Tavares has been in Cairo, Egypt, since Monday, to analyse the strengthening of cooperation and friendship between the two states. ,

 

 

This is expressed in a press release from the Angolan Embassy in Egypt, reached Angop Monday.

 

The visit, going until July 12, is an invitation by his local counterpart, Mahmoud Tawfik.

 

Both countries’ ministers will review the current state of relations and discuss the mechanisms for their strengthening.

 

Minister Ângelo Tavares' agenda includes visits to the Civil Protection Training Institute, the Police Training Academy, the headquarters of the Department of Criminal Investigation and its Laboratory.

 

Apart from Interior minister, the Angolan delegation also comprises the second commander of the National Police Salvador Rodrigues.

 

Directors of the Criminal Investigation Services Eugénio Pedro Alexandre, the Migration and Foreigners Services Gil Famoso Sebastião da Silva, and the National for International Exchange of the Interior Ministry Jorge Dembi, are joining the delegation.
