PGR recommends transparency to public managers
Luena, ANGOLA, July 5 - The Attorney General of the Republic, Hélder Fernando Pitta Gróz, Thursday in Luena city eastern Moxico province recommended public managers to give priority to a transparent management that guarantees comfort and dignifies the public service.,
The top magistrate is paying a 24-hour visit to Moxico province where he met with members of the provincial government.
Hélder Pitta Gróz reinforced the need for public servants to avoid practices of nepotism and corruption, urging them to intensify oversight.
"Officials who have negative attitudes and do not have transparency in the way they act, end up not watching over the public interests," he said.
On that occasion, the provincial governor, Gonçalves Muandumba, presented a memorandum on the socio-economic development of the province and spoke about the Government's emergency program for the eastern region of the country.
The same program will be applied in the fields of education, health, road construction and bridging, with the aim of ensuring the well-being of the population.
The prosecutor returns to the country's capital on Friday.
