The WCDE-4-4X2MP-PTZ-4X150LTL-LED-2TB-W4G mobile security tower from Larson Electronics is a full standalone security surveillance package with remote monitoring, powered by a water cooled diesel engine turning a single bearing 6,000 watt generator.

The diesel engine is a water cooled Kubota that operates at 1800 rpm. A 30 gallon fuel tank allows the engine to operate for 120+ hours continuously without refueling.

The WCDE-4-4X2MP-PTZ-4X150LTL-LED-2TB-W4G contains four IP security cameras mounted on a telescoping light tower for elevated monitoring. The devices are capable of capturing images in full-HD high resolution (1080p). Auto-adjusting, 4.7-944mm varifocal lens provide up to 20x zoom during use. For nighttime monitoring, long-range infrared LEDs, emitting 850 nm bands, allow the cameras to record targets up to 492 feet away. De-fogging, a polycarbonate lens and an IP66 rated enclosure protects the security cameras from outdoor, destructive elements.

Image processing from the cameras is supported by a 2TB NVR, which is secured and locked at the base of the light tower. This component is equipped with eight channels, video compression, mp4 video offload format, four output ports (VGA, HDMI, USB 2.0 and USB 3.0) and nine Ethernet ports. A dual-band professional-grade router, which supports 2.4 Ghz, 5 Ghz and MIMO, facilitates wireless connection via the Verizon network. A 12-inch external antenna helps extend signal coverage in outdoor work sites.

Illumination is provided by four, 150-watt LED lamps. The LED lights offer up to 84,600 lumens of output and compatibility with 120-277V AC. A wide-flood beam configuration ensures complete coverage of the area. Operators may use a 2.5-foot cord with flying leads for powering the IP67 rated LED fixtures.

All the components are supported by a 4-cycle, liquid-cooled diesel generator (Kubota D1105-BG-ET01). The 6kW brushless generator provides 120/240V single phase power with a fuel capacity of 30 gallons. A five-stage light mast keeps the cameras and lights mounted, at a maximum height of 25 feet. Operators can adjust the height of the tower via a manual hand-crank, self-braking winch. At full extension, the mast can withstand 50 mph winds.

The entire security system is secured on a two-wheel trailer with DOT-approved lights for mobility and seamless transportation. Setup and towing is streamlined using two standard safety chains and a two-inch ball coupling. Four outriggers can be deployed for stable operation on rugged terrain.
