SALINAS, CA, USA, June 22, 2018 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Dublin, Ireland, and Salinas, California June 21, 2018 - MagGrow and Pacific Ag Rentals have created a best in class sprayer that was recently demonstrated to select strawberry growers and PCAs at the Pacific Ag Research facility in Salinas. The demonstration involved spraying live plants and simultaneously compared a conventional sprayer configuration to a sprayer configured with MagGrow technology. Comparative tests showed that the application rate could be halved from 150 gallons per acre to 75 gallons per acre and achieve equivalent coverage result on the sprayed plant. This represents a significant step forward in the application of pesticides in the strawberry market and can result in significant benefits being derived by the end grower, including labor and water savings, extended spray coverage per event, reduced drift and better disease control. Both companies are now actively marketing this best in class solution in the California market and look forward to bringing this exciting development to the strawberry market.
