Luanda, ANGOLA, June 20 - The President of the Republic, João Lourenço, Wednesday dismissed three general officers under the National Defense Law and the Armed Forces, after hearing the National Security Council.,

They are General Henrique Futy, Advisor to the Chief of the Security House of the President of the Republic, Lieutenant General Leopoldino Fragoso do Nascimento, Advisor to the Minister of State and Chief of the Security House of the President of the Republic.

Likewise, Lieutenant-General Fernando de Brito Teixeira de Sousa e Andrade was dismissed from the position of advisor to the Minister of State and Head of the Security House of the President of the Republic.

Also today, and as Commander-in-Chief of the Angolan Armed Forces, João Lourenço signed an order to license for retirement, by age limit, General Afonso Lopes Teixeira Garcia, a consultant to the Minister of State and Head of the Security House of the President of the Republic, and Lieutenant General Inocêncio Yoba, in temporary inactivity.
