Honda Rearview Report: June 2 - June 15, 2018

“It takes teamwork to create, build and deliver new Honda and Acura products to our customers. Our 3rd annual Team Honda Week of Service is demonstrating that this same spirit can make important contributions to the community, with more than 22,000 volunteers from Honda operations, our dealers and suppliers completing a record 560 community service projects across North America.

This activity is timed to coincide with Honda’s “Founder's Day", marking the anniversary of the establishment of our first Honda business operation in North America, June 11, 1959, because we owe our success to our customers and to the communities where we live and work.

Whether donating blood for people or supplies for shelter animals, refurbishing homes or parks, collecting food or serving meals, providing school supplies for needy children or outdoor cleanup for senior citizens, we are humbled to support the important work of local community organizations throughout the region.

Our founder, Soichiro Honda, taught us that the simple purpose of our products and business operations is to help others and make their lives better. We are incredibly proud of our Team Honda volunteers for giving their time to make this possible in new and powerful ways. Thank you."

Rick Schostek Executive Vice President Honda North America, Inc.
